Explore the wonderful underwater world of Morecambe Bay for World Environment Day. Join Morecambe Bay Partnership at Heysham Village for a talk and guided exploration of our local marine and beach life led by experts from Lancashire Marine Conservation Society. · 2.30pm – ‘The Lush Savannahs of Morecambe Bay’ - Informal talk and conversation with Barry Kaye and the opportunity to view microscopic samples of phytoplankton · 3pm – Illustrated Talk –‘Morecambe Bay Underwater Safari' by Gordon Fletcher · 4pm refreshment break · 4.30pm – Beach walk and exploration at Half Moon Bay led by Barry Kaye. · 6pm finish Meet at 2.30pm at the Royal Hotel, Heysham Village. .
